suggested format. [It may help to take a look at some of the families
that have already been documented.]

The ideal "family data sheet" contains these items of information
| names: | immigrant, his/her parents, spouse and children |
| dates: | birth, marriage and death |
| country of origin: | place of birth and marriage (if applicable) |
| immigration: | date of arrival, place(s) settled, occupation, departure (if applicable) |
| photograph: | (optional) |
NOTE: With the passage of time, there are inevitably gaps
in our knowledge of early families and individuals -- especially when they
often lived half a world away. This is normal. Don't let it deter you from
documenting what you do know about those pioneers. Your pieces of data
may be just what someone else is searching for! They provide the synergy needed
to bring people together.
